LONDONIST IS HERE TO SUPPORT YOU!

 

 

You want to travel, need to travel but you feel unsure, afraid even, so many things that could or will happen.

Here at Londonist we are striving to support our students as much as possible and have created some Support Packages and advice for you, especially for those who may need to quarantine upon arrival.

 



We know that there are inevitably some bits you may be concerned about whether for yourself or if you are the parent, your child. It is uncertain times and being away from home is already tough, add a pandemic and the idea of having to quarantine to it, it may start feeling unbearable, but it needn’t be. And Londonist is here to support you!

We have compiled a support list of things you may need when you embark on this journey and potentially self-isolation. We are ready to welcome you and make it as easy as it can be.

 

Our Quarantine+ Package is made for these strange times. It includes an airport transfer, two weeks of free accommodation and Hello Fresh voucher to use. Keeping you safe in those initial few weeks.

Worried about public transport?

We have an airport transfer directly to your accommodation in an extra safe transit. When you book your student residence, you’ll see the option to book your transfer there.



Worried about shopping for essentials?

We can take this worry off your mind with our fantastic bathroom packs and bedding and linen packs so you don’t have to go around the shops the minute you arrive, it’ll all be waiting for you, ready to go. ➢ Additional Services



Worried about food if you’re isolating?

Worried about cleaning?

Firstly we have strict measures in place already so when you arrive it will be safe and clean for you. ut after you’ve been living in your new home for a little while you might want some professional cleaning, which we can arrange for you to take away that stress.

Worried about exercise if you’re isolating?

There are plenty of moves you can do in your room, and it’s a great idea to keep a healthy mind and motivation.

Worried about medical help?

Our Londonist Doctor is here to help! We have a special medical Doctor on call purely for our students, so if you need help, it is right there for you!

Worried about your mental wellbeing?

This is completely understandable but there is help here for you. If you need to speak to one of our team to get directions towards help, they are there for you 24/7. We have an out of hours commitment to you!

If you need something you can ask the Residence Manager or get in touch with us. We are used to helping international students and love to support you.

On top of this there is a fantastic organisation called Student Minds that have a huge amount of helpful advice, tips and numbers to call if you need to talk something through.

Worried about getting bored?

Yes, you may be a little worried about spending so much time by yourself in your room, but you should turn that negative into a positive! How about keeping yourself busy with some online experiences? Maybe it's always been on your list to learn Salsa? Or learn how to make empanadas? Or maybe you want to medidate with a Japense Buddhist Monk -  well now its the best time to do all of those things you've felt like you never have time to do.
