Most athletes take part in competitive sports for championship medals or recognition. It usually inspires these dedicated sports people to push through crippling pain and intense fatigue. The personal story around the victories of these athletes' craft makes the journey worthwhile and not the gold, silver, or bronze medal seated around the neck of the athlete. Other endeavors or sectors in the world also have some form of recognition or award ceremonies. The international education and travel industry have witnessed two significant award events in the space of a week.
The first was held by Study Travel on the 3rd of September at JW Marriott, Grosvenor House London. ST Star Awards is a peer-voted award event that is regarded as a highlight of the global study travel marketing calendar. It pulls the industry together to acknowledge and celebrate excellent provision and service in the international education sector. Our team was shortlisted in the service provider category, and we are delighted to be announced as the winners of this prestigious award in the industry. It is humbling yet inspiring to be recognised for delivering the best service to our students. As an award, it is voted by all the industry experts, agents, and accreditations. Guess what? We’ve also won it three years in a row. A clear indication of our commitment to service.
This weekend, on the 9th of September 2022, to be precise, we also attended The PIEoneer Award 2022 at the Hilton Bankside. It is an award that celebrates innovation and achievements across the entire international education industry. Boosted by a distinguished judging panel that diversely represents varying geographies and professions. We were happy to be shortlisted in the international student living category but were over the moon when we were announced as the winners. It is such a big deal and refreshing to be recognised for our unwavering commitment to making students feel at home away from home.
We are still buzzing about the reality of winning two outstanding awards in a week. The PIEoneer Awards 2022 took place on Friday, 9 September, at Hilton Bankside.
In the words of Diljit Dosanjh, “It is not like after winning an award, your job is done, and you can relax. You still have to work hard.” It is an astonishing feeling to win these awards, but our work in providing our students with thoughtful, personalised, and excellent service continues.
