Covid-19 Update: How we support our students at this uncertain time
The outbreak of coronavirus has dramatically changed our daily life. This situation is unprecedented for all of us, but together we will get through it. At Londonist, our students’ safety, as always, is our top priority and we are doing our best to help and support them during this difficult period. We are actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and we are updating our strategy and our policies to adapt to our students’ current needs.
For the next 5 months:
We don’t know how long this situation will last, but until everything returns back to normal, we want to facilitate every student that needs to stay in London. With some on-campus accommodation closing and travel restrictions in force, we want to ensure that students who cannot return to their homes, will have a safe home in London. That is why we offer 2 weeks free accommodation to any student who needs a home at London for the next months and books with us for 4 weeks or more*.
For the new academic year:
During the time of social distancing, it is important for our well-being to continue making plans for the future. At Londonist, we are committed to help our students proceed with their future plans. To do this, we have revised our booking policy for the new academic year to include a flexible booking option. Students can secure now their room for the next academic year with the option to cancel for free until 31.05.2020**. In case of cancellation, a full refund will be given and no cancellation fee will be applied.
We may now feel that everything is on pause but let’s not forget that after a while, life will get back to normal. Until then, our mission is to stand on the side of every student and support them as much as we can.
